Trekking our way right into fall
It's been a while since our last update, but I'm happy to report that our crew is doing well!
August and September were busy months for the Crusader crew. Not only did we celebrate 20 years of fandom, fun, and service here in Spokane, but we also spent time at Valleyfest, Sept. 23, meeting with members of our community. Thank you to everyone involved in making those events such a success!
Our crew recently met to carve some pumpkins for Halloween, which produced the results at the top of the article. Mermaids, a sideways-glance, and a spooky owl were the products of this year's pumpkin carving afternoon!
As we move into cooler weather, it's time for us to enjoy afternoons of Star Trek episodes, games, and plenty of fun. You won't want to miss our International Potluck, where we'll have dishes from cultures across the world. It's our replacement for a Thanksgiving-themed meal, and yet somehow seems to be even more filling than normal.
We served some mulled ale at our December meeting, so who knows what you might expect at this year's festivities. Send a message to firstname.lastname@example.org if you're interested in joining us for one of our upcoming activities! Hope to see you there!
